Is my pet insured during transport?

Absolutely. We carry comprehensive Animal Bailee Coverage (Pet Protection). This is a specialized insurance policy that explicitly protects your pet while they are in our care, custody, and control. Combined with our standard commercial licensing, you can rest assured your pet is fully protected from driveway to destination.

How often will I get updates during the trip?

We establish a communication cadence that fits your needs before we ever hit the road. Typically, we provide updates at every fuel stop and bio-break, complete with GPS location pins and video clips from our interior Rover cameras. You will never have to guess where your pet is.

How do bathroom breaks work?

Safety is our priority. During bio-breaks, animals are always double-leashed or handled using strict safety protocols. We only stop at pre-vetted, safe locations away from high-traffic hazards. Your pet's paws will never touch the ground without guaranteed security.

Are you licensed to cross state lines?

Yes. Sunrise Animal Services holds an active USDA Class T registration (Certificate No. 71-T-0193), making us fully authorized, inspected, and legally compliant to transport your pets across state lines.

What happens in a medical emergency?

With advanced NACA Level 1 & 2 certifications, we are trained to handle high-stress situations and read behavioral distress signals. Before transport, we collect your vet's information, and on the road, our integrated GPS allows us to route to the nearest emergency veterinary clinic instantly if required.

Before launching this business, I spent nearly four years serving our community directly in professional Animal Control. That field experience taught me exactly how to handle animals under pressure, read complex body language, and manage everything from standard domestic pets to highly challenging situations safely and humanely.
